The Grand Floridian Hotel in Walt Disney World, Florida.
I love this building but wanted to give this image a different feel so I played with it a bit. One of the most striking features of the hotel is is red roof. Everything else is white so, even going to a monochrome version, it seemed appropriate to leave the red in place. To do this, I used the phenomenally useful HSL sliders in Lightroom (and Camera Raw) to desaturate all channels other than red and orange. To give the rest of the image an "older" feel, I split toned the image setting the shadow colour to an orange/sepia tone. Some slight cropping and rotation yielded the result you see above.

…as seen from the Main Street Train Station. I attended the Pirate & Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom, which is a hard ticket event that runs from 7:00pm to 12:00am. Featured in the Pirate & Princess Party is the Magic, Music, Mayhem fireworks display, which was an excellent show. This photo was the last that I took of the fireworks – and I think it’s the one that turned out best. One of the things I wanted to try to accomplish on this trip was to capture some good fireworks shots – well… unfortunately, it took me until the very end to really get it figured out. I used a 10 second exposure on this shot…
